...but to get there, our hero will have to face a very tough line-up first.
With just 11 players left out of the 294 who entered the $10,000 6-max event of the 2016 World Series of Poker, Davidi Kitai can now seriously envision participating in yet another televised final table. What's more, he's currently sitting behind a comfortable stack of 1,24 million in chips, equating to about 40 big blinds. But we must reign in our hopes of witnessing Davidi winning his 4th bracelet a bit, at least for the time being. Because the Belgian genius still has a world-class line-up to go through before lifting the trophy for the cameras. His final opponents feature many a face most poker fans will immediately recognize: those of Paul Volpe, Vanessa Selbst, Nick Petrangelo, Justin Bonomo or Chris Ferguson, just to name a few. To sum it up: yes, our hero is within hours of living another triumphal moment in Las Vegas... but those hours are promising to be the toughest and most heart-wrenching of the entire tournament.
