Pierre Calamusa arrived in Vegas with the intention of making people forget his quick elimination from the Main Event a year earlier. What better way to get back on track than with one of the biggest tournaments of the year?

So... have you recovered from the Adrián Mateos' cruel elimination at the end of the previous episode? We haven't yet. But judging by your comments on YouTube, the máquina's deep run has already gone down in the history books. That's enough to lift our spirits a little. Especially since the Spaniard has plenty more fire power for the WSOP... but we're getting ahead of ourselves.

In the meantime, let's turn our cameras to another great tournament scheduled every summer at the Horseshoe in Las Vegas: the highly anticipated $10,000 buy-in 6-max, so dear to Team Winamax and the cameras of Inside the Mind of a Pro. Let's recap: Davidi Kitai finished second in this tournament in 2016 (we were there to film it). And more recently, in 2022, four members of Team Winamax - Romain Lewis (12th), Davidi Kitai (15th), Pierre Calamusa (20th) and Adrián Mateos (24th) - reached the semi-finals, which allowed us to bring you a rather unique series of episodes, with flashbacks and switches between several players.

This year, Pierre is arriving late to Vegas, but with his family. His wife Delphine and daughter Victoire have made the trip to cheer him on and give him all the strength he needs to go for a big performance, having come close to winning a bracelet several times in recent years. But beware: his recent past has also been marked by several very quick exits in major WSOP tournaments, notably the 2023 Main Event, a tournament in which our Team Pro was knocked out after a single orbit with a pair of Kings. As you will soon see, the ghosts of this premature exit continue to haunt our hero. Pierre, let's not do that again, shall we? Our cameras would like to film you for more than ten minutes...
