Davidi "Kitbul" Kitai

Davidi Kitai The inexorable mind of Davidi Kitai has over time earned him the nickname “the Genius” due to his eerie ability to get away from strong hands when he is losing and also make brave hero calls with as little as a high card.

One of a very select few, he is a Triple Crown holder (World Poker Tour, World Series of Poker and European Poker Tour title holder) and has demonstrated his skill in games all over the world.

While learning English in Los Angeles (USA), the Belgian discovered the magic of poker and learned a love for the game, in particular Texas Hold’em.

Upon returning to Europe, “Kitbul” started his poker career online going on to win multiple major tournaments. Turning his focus to live events, he qualified for many international tournaments and became a familiar face on the professional circuit, little by little pushing his way to the top.

In May 2008, Davidi became a member of the Winamax Pro Team. It didn’t take long for him to get into the swing of things and showed his ever present

ambition by announcing his aim to bring home the first ever Belgian WSOP bracelet.

One month later his mission was complete. On June 22nd, Davidi won the Pot Limit Hold’em event of the World Series of Poker. Not only the first member of Team Winamax to win a gold bracelet, but also becoming the number one Belgian poker player. Sixth place in a No Limit Hold’em Event later in the series showed that this was no fluke.

After a couple of years of success but unlucky not to add further titles to his resume, Davidi entered the WPT Los Angeles in 2011. It was here that he experienced another major victory.

In 2012, Davidi surpassed all expectation by winning the EPT Berlin and so completing the elusive Triple Crown, setting in stone his status as a true great of poker.

His drive has never deserted him, continuing to show a competitive edge and desire to win. It was at the 2013 WSOP that Davidi once again felt the rush of being a champion. In Event 19 the $5k Pot Limit Hold’em, “the Genius” overcame a talented field, filled with some of pokers biggest names to win his second gold bracelet and add another headline to the pages of history.

With his latest victory secured, his sights are now set on becoming the first ever double Triple Crown winner. A suitable challenge for such a talented player who has already amassed over $6 million in tournament cashes.

While waiting for his next title, Davidi can be found at the Winamax tables under the name “Kitbul” where he frequently plays Pot Limit Omaha amongst other games.
