TeAAmoperu wins the biggest Main Event in history

By in

Nearly 4,900 entries, over €250,000 paid out of which €45,000 went just to the winner: the cut-price Main Event was a staggering success!

More than 1,000 players, of the 4,886 total, were in place on Tuesday night for Day 2 of an exceptional Main Event, with a buy-in on sale at 50 euros instead of 150. A record number of entries which created a colossal prizepool of more than 250,000 euros and crowned one huge winner: TeAAmoperu. After five hours of play on Monday night in Day 1B to qualify, he hit the tables again the next evening all the way till 06:16 the next morning (!), to ship a whopping prize of 45,083 euros.

The final opponent of his triumph was 6x7Karembeu, who in turn pockets 30,704 euros, which is in itself roughly what the majority of Main Event winners take home. We've seen worse consolation prizes. Behind him, Max.Keane59 managed to take fourth place to cash 17,550 euros, while T3rminat0r, one of our biggest regs, was the final table bubble boy (10th, €2,188). We also saw three Team Winamax Pros in the paid places, in order, new boy Florian Decamps, AKA 1flip 2win (52nd, €415), Guillaume Diaz (80th, €318) and Aurélie Quélain (196th, €142).
