A heated Sunday Surprise, our HighRoller won for the ninth time by the same player and an improbable back-to-back win of the Totem.

Surprise

SUNDAY SURPRISE €10 - 6,143 players (1,295 re-entries) - Prizepool €55,287: Players had to wipe the sweat off their brow for this edition of the Sunday Surprise. After over 6 hours of play, mini billy emerged victorious and took home the grand sum of €9,380. The lucky duck will be able to invest in an accurate thermostat and will spend the next year glaring at the degrees Celcius. For every day that the temperature rises above 28°C, he'll win €100! This prestigious prize will make him the sole fan of global warming. The silver medal went to (Hey,Ho) Lez Go, along with €6,346 in prize money and third place went to LoveMessika who left €4,742 richer.

Usain

HIGHROLLER €300 - 175 players (40 re-entries) - Prizepool €49,000: Ninth victory of the Winamax HighRoller for MaximeC25. Can anyone top that? Certainly not Usain Bolt, who lost one of his nine Olympic medals. This figure demonstrates the incredible prowess of this player who has been crushing our tables since 2012. With his €12,443 in winnings, he signs off his best performance to date that we know of and proves that you can count on him for some high stakes action. SnapyJHON came in second with a great performance of his own, pocketing €8,057. This player is no newbie, having won the Xtase for €5,513 and the Prime Time for €3,683 in June. Quite the epic battle at the summit of all things it seems.

shabyy07 hoisted himself in to second position and took home €5,975 for his efforts, just ahead of Poker1978 (4th, €4,627) who also finished in fourth place in the €100 Monster Stack for €888. Finally, Mr.pigeon took fifth place along with €3,402, not long after his bronze medal in the Magnum tournament (€1,870). Pretty good evening for the players.

XTASE €100 - 368 players (75 re-entries) - Prizepool €33,120: fruitonGIVRE has shown us all which tournament is his favourite, and it comes as no surprise to us that this is the Xtase. With (at least) three victories in one year, he pockets €7,567, which is just a few euros less than his victory in the same tournament in May for €9,058. He defeated RazaMax93 who took €4,735 for his second place, with mikchn29 in third place for €3,435 and seahawk89 in fourth for €2,598.

MAGNUM €50 - 384 players (76 re-entries) - Prizepool €17,280: If pako_prono is as good at sports betting as he is at poker, we'd love to follow his advice. This reg has already won the Top 50 in 2017, finished as runner-up of the HighRoller and was a finalist of Event 42 of the Winamax Series back in January. He emerged victorious of the Magnum on Sunday and added €3,876 to his bankroll. cestlavie68 accepted his second place with a grand air of wisdom and philosophical thought, and the €2,398 in prize money will have been helpful to maintain a zen attitude, it must be said. Third place wen to the HighRoller finalist Mr.pigeon who took home €1,870 for his exploit. He must have been fluttering his wings in excitement.

AFTER WORK €20 - 1,516 players (302 re-entries) - Prizepool €27,288: With a username as French as a smelly baguette, LeFrogAmour will now be able to afford a nice trip to the land of garlic, berets and strange mustaches. He beat molecooola heads-up, who took €3,452, with baruti in third (€2,469).

TEA TIME €20 - 1,065 players (200 re-entries) - Prizepool €19,170: Our wonderfully British tournament is back this week, which I'm sure we can all agree is just splendid. Our grand victor was Le Doc du 84 who took home the grand sum of €1,859, along with €1,352 in bounties. Marvellous! We'd also like to extend our congratulations to Attuirmad4, who came in a close second for €1,284 along with €290 in bounties. Well, now that's done, time to crack open a pack of biscuits and drink some jolly lovely Earl Grey. Ta-ta!

LA FIEVRE €10 - 4,854 players (1,126 re-entries) - Prizepool €43,686: bryan3005 took down the Fièvre after seven hours of play, which was a profitable use of his time as he pockets €7,559. BeckhamOM83 was our second place finisher, taking €5,092 for his silver medal, with Bibowk completing the podium and taking €3,759, leaving KAT size with the last place on the podium and €2,847 to lick his wounds with.

LE TOTEM €5 - 1,581 players (337 re-entries) - Prizepool €7,114: Beating over 1,500 is one hell of a feat. Doing it back-to-back in the same tournament one week apart is just bananas. Nevertheless this was achieved by pumppumpit in the Totem. What a peach! He adds €1,428 to last week's winnings, meaning he won't be a sour apple. Incidentally, our French reporter PonceP has promised in his rendition of the MTT results that if this is repeated next week, he will eat his own hat. That bet could go very pear-shaped for him indeed.
