On_The_Road might have left the Team Winamax a few days ago, but his adventure in your favourite series is only just beginning.

Once again, the production schedule of Inside the Mind of a Pro has collided with the life cycle of Team Winamax. Last week, the episode devoted to Guillaume Diaz represented a form of coda for the 2014 Top Shark, a final lap of honour in front of the cameras a few days after the official announcement of his departure from Team Winamax. This week, it's another departing player who will take his place. The irony of the situation is doubled when it comes to François Pirault: also filmed during the 2022 World Series of Poker, these episodes that we are about to broadcast after the end of his adventure with the Team represent his grand debut in your favourite series.

Let's allow a very slight spoiler here. Where Volatile38's last stand in the show ended after only one episode (how heartbreaking was his bubble elimination in the 5k 6-max?), On_The_Road's farewell will be spread out over a slightly longer period. And it's at the start of a brand-new event, a $3,000 full ring freezeout, that François will offer us his last adventure with Team Winamax.

Having had the privilege of devouring all the episodes of On_The_Road before anyone else, we can assure you: you're in for a treat. Last week's episode was an opportunity to remember all the things that made us love Guillaume Diaz: his irrepressible good humour, his elegance and his humility even in difficult moments. With François, it will be more or less the same. The 2021 Top Shark does not have the experience of a Davidi Kitai or an Adrian Mateos in front of the cameras of Inside the Mind of a Pro. But we can admire how naturally he melts into the format of the series, adopts the codes of the programme without difficulty, and unfolds all his reasoning and emotions with meticulousness and fluidity. We can confirm: for his first (and unfortunately last) appearance in the series, François Pirault delivers a veteran performance. So please: enjoy it to the full.
