The bubble might be looming, but Davidi Kitai has no intention of slowing down.
By now, you're probably well aware of this fact: on top of being a finely tuned poker-playing machine, Davidi Kitai is also quite the understated showman, always at the ready to deliver a perfectly timed punchline after executing a successful bluff or hero call. And while plenty of the Belgian's best lines will be sources of headaches for our team of translators, the best quote in this new episode wasn't hard to turn into English. It comes early in an action-packed half-hour of high-level poker. "You can't be scared. If you play scared 6-handed, you're done." A pitch-perfect mission-statement that our hero will be nothing but faithful to as we near the bubble in the $10,000 Short-Handed event of the 2016 World Series of Poker. With 84 players left, only 45 of whom will see a payday, our hero has no intention of deviating one bit from his aggressive battle plan, despite facing tough, experienced soldiers such as Scott Seiver. The battle resumes with Davidi loaded with 140,000 in ammo at the 1,500/3,000 blind level. Fight on!
