You may have seen the news on Twitter: last week, with the broadcast of the final episode focusing on Davidi Kitai, Inside the Mind of a Pro officially overtook Friends in terms of the number of episodes produced.

With a total of 237 episodes of our beloved show since 2011, Ross, Rachel, Chandler and the rest are now beaten to the punch (they sucked at poker anyway). And, unlike the thirtysomethings from New York, forever frozen in the eternity of TV archives, your favourite poker series has no intention of stopping there.

Well, OK, as far as the current season is concerned, it's true that the end is starting to make itself felt... In Friends, the sextuplet were “friends to the end”. In the last big tournament of the 2022 WSOP, Romain Lewis is now feeling quite alone. Adrian Mateos, Pierre Calamusa, then Davidi Kitai: one by one, all his buddies have walked the plank in previous episodes.

At the start of this 238th episode, the young man from Bordeaux, holder of a bracelet won in 2021, bears a heavy responsibility: he is the last man to steer the Winamax ship in the choppy waters of the $10,000 6-max event. Only 18 players remain... including a Davidi who hasn't yet been eliminated, because we've rewound the tape a little to see a few more hands in Romain's head. The promised land of the final table is beginning to appear in the distance. But with a stack of 22 blinds and his opponents on full alert, he's going to have to cross some rough waters to reach his destination. All aboard, sailor!
