Inside the Mind of a Pro: Romain Lewis never gives up

Down to less than 10 blinds in the $2,500 World Series of Poker tournament, Romain Lewis is giving it his all to hang on in this latest episode.

Inside the Mind of a Pro - WSOP 2021 - Romain Lewis 4Red alert for Romain Lewis in the $2,500 World Series of Poker fullring event! In the previous episode, our Bordeaux native fell on the wrong side of a coin flip, as his AK failed to improve against a pair of Nines. A decisive 50/50 with about fifty players left in such a beautiful tournament: it would be an understatement to say that our Team Pro came out of this situation "a little tilted". But this was certainly not the time to give up! Even with a measly stack of ten blinds, putting him in a dangerous position, Romain intends to continue doing what he does best: playing poker.

Of course, he'll have to put himself at risk with marginal hands; of course, he'll have to put his fate in the hands of Lady Luck, who is known to be capricious; but of course, and despite a reduced margin of maneuver, he'll be keeping the same standard of level-headed decisions... which could be his last at any moment. Literally. It seemed like nothing would be easy for Romain in this tournament, right from the start, and if he remains as confident as ever in his game and his abilities, his mental strength will be put to the test, by opponents determined to make life difficult for him. Fortunately, he will be able to count on the support of many of his friends, railing or still in the tournament. The ring is set up, now it's time to fight!
