The final table has started, and guess who is sitting atop the leaderboard?
When the rush started, he was ready. He had been waiting for it all along. As everyone who watched episode 10 of Davidi Kitai's epic run in the $10,000 6-max event of the 2016 World Series of Poker could see, the stars aligned perfectly for our hero in the crucial hands leading up to the final table. A mixture of relentless aggression, perfect timing and a few good starting hands made for a very tasty cocktail indeed, allowing him to eliminate extremely dangerous players such as Paul Volpe and Vanessa Selbst, and to take a seat at the televised final table with the largest stack. In other words, things couldn't be better for the Belgian Genius at the moment. Will it last? Well, as they say online, it's complicated. Because with contenders like Nick Petrangelo, Justin Bonomo or Chris Ferguson, each of them members of the 8-figure winnings club, this isn't just your average final table. On the other hand, Davidi has been there, done that. More than once. We'll spare you the research: you're about to watch his 8th appearance at a WSOP final table. 3 of them have ended with him taking the bracelet home. So, while this one might be the toughest he's ever sat down at, given what he has shown us so far, we can't help but like his chances.
