Inside the Mind of a Pro: it's payday in the Main Event
inThe “world's biggest tournament” comes hand-in-hand with the “world's biggest bubble”. Always a unique moment... especially when experienced in the company of Adrián Mateos at the peak of his abilities, in an exceptional XXL episode.
It's been a long time coming... Adrián Mateos was expecting it for the last hours of Day 3, and so did we, but it was not to be. But this time, it's here, Day 4 is about to start, and it's finally here. "It" is the bubble of the World Series of Poker Main Event! It is undoubtedly one of our favourite poker moments of the year for all those who closely follow the biggest tournament in the world - we are lucky to be part of it.
Because the Main Event bubble is obviously not an ordinary bubble. It is a moment of both celebration and high tension. It is a party, yes... but an incredibly chaotic party. The fault lies with its unreal size: over 1,500 players experience it collectively, supervised by a frantic WSOP staff, who must maintain military discipline so as not to be overwhelmed by events.
In short, an electric moment... that you will experience for the first time in your favorite series, guided by Adrián Mateos, who is in top shape. With his stack of 950k and blinds at 4k/8k, our hero will be merciless on payday. In particular towards the short-stacks using all sorts of ploys to buy time...
