In regard to the recent Team Pro Experience promotion.

The Team Pro Experience promotion, inaugurated on Winamax in November, was conceived as a new, more modern and less restrictive version of the Top Shark Academy, Team Winamax's annual recruitment competition created in 2011 and open to the entire community of Winamax players.

Unfortunately, despite an undeniable success in terms of attendance, the first edition of the Team Pro Experience did not take place under satisfactory conditions, either for the participants in the challenge or for Winamax.

On several occasions during this promotion, we noted a lack of commitment and attendance on the part of the Team Winamax member chosen as ambassador for the operation, even after reminding him of his responsibilities. These repeated failings resulted in a severely damaged gaming experience for the participants in the Team Pro Experience, many of whom spoke out on social media, poker forums, and to our customer support.

These incidents have led us to take a difficult but unavoidable decision. As of today, Mehdi Chaoui is no longer part of Team Winamax.

We are well aware of the consequences of this decision. It has not been taken lightly. However, we feel that it is in keeping with the respect that Winamax owes its community of players, and with the values of excellence and exemplarity upheld by the Team.

Even though our collaboration has now come to an end, we wish Mehdi every success for the rest of his career: however regrettablen this episode in no way diminishes the esteem we have for his talents as a card player, and his human qualities. And to the many players who have expressed their disappointment with the way the Team Pro Experience was run, we apologise once again. Every effort will be made to ensure that future Winamax promotions take place in optimal conditions, with, as ever, one priority: your satisfaction.
