Winamax is a Paris-based company dedicated to online poker and sports betting. Its main shareholders and founders, Alexandre Roos, Christophe Schaming (Lycos, Caramail) and Patrick Bruel (singer, actor, World Poker Champion) have combined their know-how around the Internet community and the online gaming industry.

With almost two-thirds of the market share (2022 data), Winamax is the leading poker site in France. In July 2018, the company launched on the Spanish market, where it is growing day by day. Available on PC, Mac and mobile devices, the Winamax app was the first in the world in this field: regularly updated, it has been the best on the market since 2010. Security

Winamax was the first operator to receive approval from the French Online Gaming Regulatory Authority (ARJEL, which has since become the National Gaming Authority) in June 2010. Created in 2007, Team Winamax has quickly become a major player in the biggest international festivals, earning the title of "Europe's most successful team". With victories on all the major world circuits (WPT, EPT and WSOP), the team is now made up of fifteen members from France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Portugal, who have together won more than $58 million in live events. From French ambassador Patrick Bruel to Adrián Mateos Diaz, a young Iberian prodigy who was already a three-time world champion at the age of 24, to Kool Shen, a legendary rapper who has proven his talent at the highest level, all types of competitors are represented.
